best substrate for gypsicola is pure soft travertine. or aerated concrete brick is also good.

it is surprising how ruderal holland hybrid can be. but in this size no new pitchers has been produced. -
next season (after this shot) there was more inflorescences but i was lazy to take a camera... and this season the plant is cutted to many smaller plants so no flowers, but one time i will do a picture with really huge amount of flowers i hope.. and thanks for comments..

3 meters long Holland hybrid Nepenthes cv. Alata potted in the pot with diameter 8cm. no roots below pot.

this Proboscidea grows as a weed between potatos. year before the season when this picture was taken, i was passing with mature Proboscidea around and lost some seeds...

Simplest european is P. grandiflora definitelly, no other can compare. Mexican, more hybrids are very simple to cultivate, i can reccommend P. moctezumae x gigantea, its big one, well growing and flowering and tolerate to winter watering.
