  1. Photo is not worthwhile, it now looks about the same way you sent it to me, which was the at the end of June this year.
  2. OMFG. That is a monster!!!! I am happy to say, that the plant you sent me did not die, it is still very small, but doing fine. :) let me point out, for others, I stupidly pulled the whole plant out of its soil, thinking I would remove a dead leaf..
  3. Hold on, "black" isn't a colour.
  4. I think he means that when you have a pure species (non-hybrid), the question arises: Is this plant the product of self-pollination, or are mother and father two individual plants.
  5. This is really terrible news...I absolutely loved his violent and insane humor. b****** had to go! There were times when Rik and I were writing together when we almost died laughing. They were some of the most carefree stupid days I ever had, and I feel privileged to have shared them with him. And now he's died for real. Without me. Selfish b a s t a r d. —Ade Edmondson

  10. Hi gang, end of September my parents, relatives in Croydon, and I will travel to Scotland, the main destination being Skye. We'll be a group of 8 people, 7 adults and one teenager. How risky do you think it is just walking up to the guesthouses/B&B/self-caterings and asking if they have space for 8 people? Are there many accommodation-options on Skye? Cheers. :)
  11. Yes, but I have reached the limit as to how much I can expand..next year I will continue to expand... :)

  20. Sort of off topic here...was just curious.. 2m diameter base, 2m vertical sides. Radius is 1m, side is 2m (L) the volume of the cylinder is r2 x π x L http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-1zYM-kIlWSw/Up31U8IiSAI/AAAAAAAAUIY/IFdpOzmtQgg/s1600/fc_cylinder_41702_lg.gif so: 1 x π x 2m: ~6.3m3 6.3m3 is the equivalent of 6300 liters. Are you sure about the volume of your cistern (3500l)?
