  1. Wow! Amazing pics, Kamil! All plants look great but N. veitchii is my favorite. Thanks for sharing! Vitor Albuquerque
  2. First, we must ask: Do this variation exists in wild? Diferent plants produced in cultivation cannot be considered species or varieties. These are Cultivars! If you find these diferent plants in Habitat, beggins the taxonomist mess. The diferent caracters must be clearly separated to be considered true diferent species. If you find intermediates, you'll need to study the species in diferent places, trying to understand the variation and decide if you think it's only a polymorphic species, if there are two species, hybrids, or if there are varieties. And the bigger problem is: there aren't clear limits about what are diferent species or varieties. So, each taxonomist can have a diferent opinion about it and none will be wrong. The most sucessfull of them is the one with the most convincent argument. This is Taxonomy!
  3. Nice plants, Christian! Are you growing it from seed? How long? Any scapes? Kind regards, Vitor

  9. Hi Andreas, The only plants I already saw personaly from this section was U. adpressa (for sure) and U. erectiflora. The first difference between them that I could identify was the very big sepals in the U. erectiflora in comparison to U. adpressa. Do you think it's a good caracter to differentiate them? What do you use? Regards, Vitor B.
  10. Hi Stewart, amazing pictures! Very healthy plants from all species. I most liked the N. rowanae and B. liniflora. These Byblis look quite different from the plants we use to see in cultivation. Thanks for sharing.

  17. Hi Iggy, This form is also one of my favorite Utricularia species! Fernando, don't be envious! Come here to do a visit! Andreas, unfortunately I didn't see any fruit but I'll let you know when I get it. About the Philcoxia, I wondered it was too wet. I only put this picture to show how many sand there were in the region. All the best, Vitor B.
  18. Hi Andreas, What a Fantastic Place! It's amazing! For me, the most interesting plants were P. leptoceras (obviously), Gentiana orbicularis and Nigritella rhellicani. Thanks for sharing. Now I'm going to buy some chocolate. Kind regards, Vitor B.
  19. Hello guys, Thanks for the comments! Fernando, when you come back to Brazil you'll can see this species in cultivation, and when we go to Australia, we'll find it in wild. You just need to wait more some time. Griso, yes, it's possible to get seeds but not this time... This species needs cross polination and at the moment I have only one flowering plant. Daniel, this is an easy species for me but I was discussing with Fernando and maybe it likes warmer conditions. It's a tropical species, found in Australia, Africa and Asia. Kind Regards, Vitor B.
  20. Hello Guys, This week my D. indica 'Red plants' flowered first time. I didn't know it was going to produce orange flowers and it was a nice surprise! I most like this picture. Kind Regards, Vitor B.
  21. Beautiful! This species is very nice. Congrats!
  22. Hello Guys, Thanks for the comments! Rich, That place seemed to be a nice place for droseras but actually it was very poor... I only found the D. communis in a place about 60 meters from this stream. Alexander, really this place had a lot of beautiful Utrics. It was very nice.
