  1. Thank you, it has fresh growth and appears to be recovering, the soil is special soil for carnivorous plants but I will re-pot it as it appears to have offspring that need to be re-potted themselves. The issue I have is that my house doesn't really get enough light, I have a small stand greenhouse and a humidifier in the garden that I use, I will try use it in the spring and summer once it gets warmer but the house doesn't offer enough humidity or heat.
  2. It's current leaves are brown and black in some parts, but they are not dry and the stem is trying to grow new leaves. Do I cut off the leaves? If so, how do I encourage side shoots to grow.to replace the leaves I remove?
  3. Thanks for the info, I feared as much. The information I get online is often contradictory. Some say it's fine during winter others not and I couldn't really find a guide specifically for this kind of plant. I hope it recovers but if it doesn't at least I know better for next time. What month would be a good month to bring one of these in for the winter and what month should be okay to take it back out?
  4. Hello all, I think my Pitcher Plant is dying and I have no idea how to help it or what I did wrong. I live in the UK and so I am wintering it in the bathroom which is warm and humid. I had to do this because I was dying outside but it doesn't seem to be getting any better. I am very new to Pitcher Plant care and am unsure what to do ir if there is now anything I can do. The plant during winter was always my biggest fear and this is why. I only use rain water to water it. It has had plenty of bugs when if was outside. I can't take it outside as it just freezes. I had to remove its pitchers as they were dead. Is all hope lost?
