    Soil

It is Irish peat. I have used it for all my carnivorous plants and they are doing well. Their soil has not developed green slime and no brown sticky surface.

Hi. Anyone who understands about soil? I have three plants outside (2 are almost dead). They all have the same soil and I water them from the bottom in a saucer. The soil of the first has developed a browny powdery layer, the second has a green sticky stuff and the third is becoming green. Any idea what is happening? Thank you.
  4. Thank you very much.
  5. Hi, I have some very healthy Sarracenia Minor plants. However, I noticed that one plant has curled and twisted pitchers. Can anybody tell me why? I keep the plants outside. Temperature between 15 and 25 C. Sun: 3 or 4 hours a day. Rain water in saucers. Thank you in advanced for your help.
  6. Hi, I have some very healthy VFL. However, I noticed that one plant has deformed leaves. Can anybody tell me why? I keep the plants outside. Temperature between 15 and 25 C. Sun: 3 or 4 hours a day. Rain water in saucers.
  7. Last week, I bought this Drosera. The label does not say which type it is. I found pictures on Google and I found pictures of that plant with different names (Paradoxa, Petiolaris, Lanata). Which one is it? I live in UK. I left the plant outside. Temperature 20 C. After a couple of days, it turns red (as you can see from the second photo). What has happened? I read that it can take high temperature, up to 30 C. How do I care for this plant? Any help it welcome. Thank you in advance.
