  1. No idea about a name, but this clone looks really awesome. I hope it will remain its features!
  2. Hi, sorry, the plants sold out within 24h. There will be more in spring :) Kind regards, Michael
  3. Hi all, thank you for the nice comments. Matze: I was talking with Klaus about this plant at Christians open day, when you were standing just beside us ... luc: Yes, it looks a bit like Mirror, but I have grown them side by side and Cerberus is making much more mutated traps than Mirror. For me this one is really the better clone. Kind regards, Michael
  4. Hi, I would like to introduce a new and very spectacular clone to you. It is VFT Cerberus, which was selected by Stephan Glied in 2010 from a batch of seeds. The plant forms a small trap on each side of the main trap. This sounds like just another VFT Mirror, but this plant forms the trap nearly through out the year. Also the traps have a nice pink to orange color. Have a look: You can find the whole descritpion here: http://michaelscarnivores.com/?p=586 We also have the first plants for sale. Kind regards, Michael
  5. Hi, thank you all for the nice comments. And yes, it was a really nice place up there and the long drive up has paid out. Thank you Markus for the identification! kind regards, Michael
  6. This summer was quite hot and sunny in Germany and the Sarracenia were really happy with this. On many plants I got the best colouration ever, especially with the different red tube varieties of S. flava. But lets start with a very beautiful S. x’Linda Butt’ S. flava var. rubricorpora ‘Burgundy’ MK F26 S. flava var. cuprea ‘runder Deckel’, a simple but very beautiful clone. S. flava var. atropurpurea, Marston Exotics, 1999, MK F174 S. flava var. ornata, Wewahitchka, MK F42 S. x moorei ‘Timothy King’, MK H225 That's all for now, but there are more pictures on my blog: michaelscarnivores.com kind regards, Michael
  7. Hi, this year I also sold some Draculas. I would be very happy about opinions on the plants. Here is what they look like: What do you think about the plants? I think they are not fully coloured, as the plants shown were under artificial light for two month now. Kind regards, Michael
  8. In mid of August we made a trip to the Maggia valley close to Ascona. As we could not decide where to stop, we drove to the end of the valley and arrived at an artificial lake at about 1500m a.s.l..There we found the road continuing a lot further. After some more driving we arrived at a beautiful mountain lake at 2050 m a.s.l.. Some divers there told us, that this small lake is up to 40 m deep. On the south facing shore, we found some Pinguicula growing between the grass. As I am not an Pinguicula expert, I would be happy if someone could ID them. Beside the Pinguicula there were a lot of other non carnivorous plants, which attracted our attention. And a young frog A few meters off the lake we found some Pinguicula, which were still in flower. It seems that they were flooded and cooled by a small mountain brook, which was larger before. On the way down again we found a wonderful population of Drosera rotundifolia and Pinguicula growing beside a small waterfall. The wall, on which the plants were growing, was on one side of the small street. I spotted them by just driving by due to the intense red and light green colors of the plants. More pictures of this trip can be found on my webpage michaelscarnivores.com.

  10. Hi Lisa, just use the link above and you will be directed to the online shop. Then just click on a plant you like, choose the size and put it to your shoping cart. When you have everything you can check out and do the payment. So much easier then a list :) I hope this helps. kind regards, Michael
