Dear all,
I have a couple of sarraceniae: a psittacina, a 'Judith Hindle' and a Catesbiae cross. I was rather late in bringing them outside this Winter, and they're all looking (in particular the Catesbiae) less healthy than last year, with the Catesbiae having produced fewer, smaller pitchers which have browned. (Perhaps this is due to the very direct sunlight?). Anyway, the Catesbiae has needed division and repotting for a while now, as there are around four plants in a medium-sized pot. It seems to have flowered already as well. There are also many roots growing out from the plastic pot. I'm wondering whether a division and repotting might benefit the plant, but I'm wary that it might not be the best time. I'd like to do all I can to save it! The Psittacina also wants repotting but doesn't seem to have been affected so badly.
All best wishes,
Carlos
P.S.: I can provide photos if necessary.
