  3. I'm not sure what tropical ants are but I live in southern California and my yard only has these Itty bitty ants. Not standard size ones haha.   7. My guess too is that the species are different that's why they produce different styled pitchers. I know S. rubra has smaller thin pitchers, that might be what your little sarr is :) Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
