  1. Those are seed grown already 4 years old plants. With the mini bog I wanted to test how Cephalotus would grow in John Yates potting mix and on the other side to test the climate in Bulgaria as I grow them outside ( except winter)... so far so good :) I'll update this thread regularly... Small Cephalotus "German Giant x self " ( supposed ???) in the bottom left corner. Small Cephalotus Gull Rock Road x self Small Cephalotus Big Donk x self

  4. This Cephalotus has been outside all winter, here in Scotland. I was up against the house wall, so got some protection. The photo really doesn't do the colouration justice.

  5. The flowers have the same buttery yellow colour as the pitchers. A contrast to the other more lime yellow flava flowers

  6. There's also Fear The Walking Dead (which i believe is written by the same people as the original WD), but i found that to be slow and boring. I can't recall seeing any gore at all so give that a try Bill. I gave up on it.

  7. Hi everyone We spent the last week in Ireland and managed to get over to Roscommon. Thanks to some hints from a post by fishcps and quite a lot of time on the internet, google maps and OSi I managed to find the site fairly easily. Here's some pictures of purpureas on on the bog .near Tarmonbarry. http://s1084.photobucket.com/user/Sarraman/slideshow/ I think there may be more plants further into the bog but I only had a pair of shoes with carrier bags tied over them (forgot wellies).. The images were taken using my phone so not as good as I'd like but it was well worth the visit and great to see the plants growing pretty much as they would in their native environment.
