Hello everyone, I came across an article about this gorgeous Drosera earlier this year and have been wondering for a while now if/when this species will come into cultivation? I read in an article somewhere that the species is protected (and quite rightly so - such a loss in the wild would be more than a tragedy), so does this mean that not even wild seed can be sampled and brought into cultivation? Here's a couple of links about it and photos of the beauty. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drosera_magnifica http://carnivorousockhom.blogspot.co.uk/2015/07/drosera-magnifica-new-species-from.html?m=1 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hi all. My tuberous droseras are finally waking up. They are quite late. I made a mistake and kept them after planting on windowsill and they got probably too hot. This is my first year growing them. I am still learning. Today I will show you the tubers. I bought them from Dieter and Lutz. They were photographed before planting on 21.8. 2015. Later I will add pictures of the plants.

Finally managed to get a half decent shot of some of the D Capensis seedlings, I have hundreds of the little blighters and can see myself taking short spring walks on the common ground outside my flats shaking them down my trouser legs whilst nonchalantly mixing them into the local flora with deft sweeps of my shoes (reference to 'The Great Escape')

Congrats on the very beautiful plant! Could you please inform me (us) how you got the seeds to germinate and the growing conditions of the plant? First attempt with growing this plant failed and your great pictures have inspired me to try again. Thank you, Brian
