Are there any type of conditions that favour chasmogamous flowers? Because this plant is famous for infesting collections and only producing seedpods an not opening its flowers

More favourable conditions (strong light, grown alone or at least with enough space, etc.) induce chasmogamous vs. cleistogamous flowers. Interestingly, I get chasmogamous flowers preferably in winter (indoor setup), and cleistogamous ones year round.

Thank you for the information. Mine is just sending it's first stalks with me and already did not open the first one. Was wandering if the problem was my clone.
