In picture attached is my 'system' of seeds mentioned in title bar.

My problem is that it's been two years now from sowing seeds - and still not germination.

In cover pot there is only water, in that red, glass 'watering bottle' there is mixture of gibberellic acid, water and neem-oil to prevent fungus. I also have spray bottle with same mixture and with that I try to keep surface of soil moist/wet.

One contact from USA believed that seeds are dead - what do you think at this forum? Do you have some hint, is there something more I could do?

As happened with this Drosera. 

Outside the bottle, it has made three new leaves, which seem to be hirsute. A week stem, and roundish to kidney shaped leaves.

The picture isn't the best, and the unknown Drosera is small. Obviously a seedling, transported in a dutch Sphagnum bag. 

Any clues what it could be?

I have been cultivating this sundew for a few months but it does not produce mucielago and the tips burn. Can someone help me with its cultivation?

A few years ago, when I started, I was looking for seeds of various plants, and a gentleman gave me these seeds; he had inadvertently mixed two different locations (from the Trentino region, Italian Alps) and told me that even if from the point of view of conservation they were not worth nothing more, they still remained valid for a neophyte ...

So here are my sundew rotundifolia "Trentino" 

Just for pleasure, two flowers of drosera capensis typical 

Does it look okay?
Yellow or crispy leaves are something I am not sure about. It could be from the springtails and stinky bacteria, or maybe some condition.

There is the the old pot attached too. Is it ok if I still keep it? THere is some utricularia I would like to observe.

Just wanted to report a case of self-pollination offspring... So it occurs... But at a veeeery low rate...

I'm generally new to drosera and even newer to pygmies and their gemmae. I was given a few D. Platystigma gemmae for free on September 26th. I sowed them on the surface of peat mixture from California Carnivores, topped it with sand, and left them around 8 inches below my grow lights and in around 60% humidity. 

I have not seen any growth so far, though they still appear green and intact. I wonder if I should just throw away the batch and start anew with something else.  I do have a temperature and humidity-controlled enclosure that keeps my plants around 26c during the day and 20c to 17c at night. Is it worth it to move the gemmae in here this late?

I do like this plant, since it a very nice size, but I do want to get the real deal, in case this isn't it.

Here are some pictures. The plant is just starting to enter dormancy, but most of the leaves still have dew on them.

Drosera filiformis is on the last picture. Only one leaf is left with dew, the plants are entering dormancy.

I have been growing D, Andromeda for the past seven months, in a closed container with  relative humidity of about 90%.

Anyway I wes wondering if this Drosera can be propagated by leaf cutting?

Warning - complete novice here.

I've got a Drosera Capensis and it has now grown to a point where it is 'top heavy' - the stem below the green leaves is about 3 inches long now and can't support the weight of all the green growth on top.  Should I just re-pot her and bury the old stem or just keep using a 'support stick'? Also, should I keep pruning away the dead leaves?

So, it started out okay for the first week or so, everything was normal, and the sundew continued producing dew.

Today I decided to water it from the top instead of the bottom (Not sure if that is ok with sundews...) and realized that there were around a hundred tiny little white worm-like bugs (I think they are springtails) floating around. And, the soil smelled like sulfur. I suppose that's because the soil was 100% peat moss and it was only bottom watered. 

I washed out the soil with distilled water until the water wasn't a yucky shade of brown.

The two sundews seem fine, I will attach photos later (My phone camera "conveniently" broke at that time), but the bottom layer of leaves is yellowing at the ends. But, the newest leaf and two coming in seem fine. Do note that the new growth had little brown marks, what I assum is Humic Acid buildup, which was temporarily fixed by the washing.... THe many utricularia subulatas in the pot are thriving and partying, producing more leaves then ever, probably from feasting on the little bugs...

So here is where I need your thoughts and ideas on:

- Should I repot the sundew out of there? If so, should I wash all the roots off?

- If I do repot it, there is quite a bit of moss and utricularia I would like to save with it, should I do the same? Or can i keep small bits of peat moss with them to preserve the moss and utricularia?

-Should I do anything about the sulfur bacteria? I am thinking of just moving all the utricularia into a salad container with good draining soil , and throwing away the old peat moss mix that smelled bad...

Last year I bought a D. Binata, I can't remember which type it is but the leaves forked and each fork forked again....maybe that will help with id-ing it. At first I placed it on a south facing window sill it didn't seem to be doing too bad but there didn't seem to be much dew production so I moved it into my poly tunnel behind my house. It seemed a little happier from a dew production point of view but it's growth wasn't all that vigorous. Never having had a D. Binata before I wasn't sure how vigorously it should grow so I just carried on doing what I had been doing. The plant seemed happy enough sat in an inch or so of water. Then winter came along, I decided to leave the Binata in the Poly tunnel with the rest of my cps. Near the end of winter/start of spring horror of horrors my poly tunnel had decided to sod off to the neighbours garden during a thunder storm The contents of the escaped poly tunnel were all over my back garden. Since the weather was still horrid me and the wife just stuffed the cover of the poly tunnel into the garden shed and forgot about the back garden until the weather improved.

So spring arrived and I decided to tackle the back garden, the only cp's I could find was a couple of flay traps that had sprouted from seed sown the previous summer, a pitcher plant and the Binata. The trouble is it seems to be having a major problem coming out of dormancy and baring in mind it's now July I am thinking the poor thing is near death What is happening has baffled me...it has no leaves at all and every time a new leaf breaks through the surface it turns black and dies within 2-3 days. I thought perhaps the roots were suffering from rot or perhaps the soil was a bad mix so I checked the roots which seemed fine (black, thick and strong) and re-potted the Binata in pure live sphagnum moss. I then placed the plant in a bowl with an inch or so of water in it and stood it on a bench in my south facing front garden where it receives full sun. Still the leaves kept turning black and dying as soon as they appeared so I moved the Binata to the south facing window sill...there was no improvement so now it's back on the bench with my other cps.

The fact that it is trying to grow new leaves suggests it's not yet dead but what's going on? Should I return the plant to the poly tunnel behind my house where it's warmer but receives less direct sun light because where it is currently positioned doesn't seem to be working? I'm thinking that maybe the evening temperatures are too cold for it...I live near Beveley, East ringing of Yorkshire.

I hope somebody can shed some light on this issue as I'd like to save the plant if at all possible.
