I did this walk on the 28th April 2011. An 8 mile walk in and around the Cotswolds village of Bledington. This walk also skirts the edges of Foscot, Bould and Foxholes.
Whilst there are small sections of tarmac footpaths, the majority of the walk is set on rural public footpaths, bridleways and woodland. At times you will pass through fields containing livestock. The walk through Foxholes Nature Reserve is very nice in April and May when the Bluebells are out.
A Chatroom is now available on CPUK. Enter Chat (see photo) and talk in a group about anything you like. Chat will open in a pop-up box so you can keep an eye on the forum while you chat with others.
I did this walk on the 27th April 2011 - A 5 mile walk that begins in the charming, picturesque Cotswold village of Church Westcote. The first part of the walk will take you past the village church, and through some fields with stunning views of Cotswold countryside! Next, you will descend downhill into lush valley bottoms and some lovely woodland which opens out into farmland, which will take you round to the village of Icomb, and then an upward stroll through young woodland back to Church West
My other main hobby away from carnivorous plants is walking in the UK countryside. I try and get out at least once a week for a 5 or 6 mile walk. It's taken me to some brilliant places around Britain. I haven't really recorded where I've walked before so will use this Blog to show the places I get to. This may or may not be of interest to anyone but please read if you want to. I take the odd photo while out walking so will post a few here when I get something half decent.
Why not add your location to the new Member Map. A clever map that lets you enter your location in the world so others can see where you live. (see photos)

CPUK Forum saw some big changes in April 2011, all good we hope! The forum software was upgraded to the latest version and a new skin was installed. Lots of new things to get used to but hopefully not to much trouble for everyone. We also moved to a new server which will help us continue to grow and improve over the next few years.
The CPUK Forum was formed in March 2002 when there were very few similar websites dedicated to the carnivorous plant enthusiast. We started with just an handful members, some of who are still with us today and have grew to become one of the best known websites of it's kind on the internet. We owe our success to our long standing loyal and very knowledgeable membership. We've seen many copy websites come and go over the years but we are still here so must be doing something right. Thank you to al
