Hi,

here are some pictures of R. dentata from the Cedar Mountains. We only found one very small population of about 15 plants gorwing in about 10 square meters. We only found them at this single spot! A fire is definitely necessary to ensure the survival of the plants in that location. I hope, you like the pictures.

Fantastic! I really love this carnivorous bush. Must be really old plants to rich this size (and unfortunately, safe from fire for many years).

OP was referring to the Cederberg, a mountain range in the western Cape Province. The name translates to "Cedar Mountains". I went there in 2006 and it's a beautiful place. I wish we'd had more time there!
