Having almost completly ignored this plant for a whole year I was rewarded with this the other day:

I all I do is spray the thing about once every 2 months, and it's been kept unprotected in the unheated greenhouse all year round.

What's irritating is that I had entered this plant into the flowering plant catagory of the allotment show the other day. Unfortunately it opened about 4 days too late!

The leaves remind me of elephant skin! Love the flower too........what an interesting plant yes.gif

I hadn't really thought about it before, but you're right!! It is very elephantine! biggrin2.gif

Well it definitely add to the charm, although I think I'm just partial to anything that looks a bit unusual biggrin.gif

Do you plan to try and self pollinate?? Give me a shout if you get some seeds you'd like to sell wink.gif

I hadn't really thought of pollenating it. I'm not really up on the sexual anatomy of the Huernia! I'll see what I can do, and let you know how I get on.
