That looks great! I really enjoyed the photo diary of how it was made. I'm currently helping my husband to build an alien in a similar way, it's a lot of fun! Mind you, that chicken wire is hard on your fingers.
Thanks for sharing.

Certainly was fun, though very time consuming...

It is for the EEE show, children can be caught and photographed, it is to attract more visitors

Excellent!

In an Orchid Garden in Borneo I saw rubbish bins shaped like Nep pitchers, but they were nothing like as good as this and I doubt they'd have thanked me for trying to fit anyone inside one!

I've seen it for real yesterday, it's done very well.

As a cephalotus admirer, i would have to congratulate those involved in making it. It's a real masterpiece. Beautiful shape and colours.
One constructive criticism there though, the teeth are all pushed inwards making it a very friendly and harmless pitcher.

Thanks for the compliments.
On the teeth we had to make concessions, as we didn't want to have 'bleeding' kids or kids having eye injuries ....
An other concession we had to make is to omit the collar inside; less work, but also a better fit to be able to stick your head trough ...

It was the first time that we did this kind of thing, but it turned out better than I expected. It was fun, but I don't know if there will be a next project, as it very time consuming! Luckily it will take some time before the EEE comes to the Netherlands again smile.gif
