I was having a bit of a tidy-up this morning and found a few new pitchers that I thought I'd share.......
N. boschiana
Borneo Exotics'
N. burkei
An
ephippiata that could use a bit more light:
Not a spectacular plant, but not one you see very often either:
N. lamii
A seedling of the astonishingly fast-growing form of
N. maxima from Tinombala, PNG.
N. rajah
My
ramispina is returning after being cut back savagely:
For Bill,
N. stenophylla starting to vine
One of my favourite species,
N. tentaculata, this is the Malesiana Tropicals spotted form:
Two forms of
N. tobaica I grow side-by-side:
and finally, a highland
truncata
Cheers,
T.

Wonderful pictures Tonyc

!
What a pleasure to lay the eyes of seldom seen species such as
lamii and
burkei!
The highland
truncata is awesome too, so is the
boschiana, the
tentaculata and the
maxima -what an amazing colour!

great to see the true burkei! Interested in the tobaica, that red pitcher is fab. I once grew tobaica from seed and had a plant for several years but the pitchers never got more than half the size of yours...

Tony,
Nice to see a lamii, what conditions do you have it in?

Hi all,
Tyfone: the N. lamii is a Borneo Exotics clone, and yes it's a ultra-highland species: it will only pitcher for me in winter. It lives in a terra in an unheated room under bright lights (they bump the temperature up during the day) with as high humidity as I can provide .
Bill, I've only been growing the burkei for a year or so, it's a fast grower!
Cheers,
T.

What was its size when you received it Tony?
I remember Rob Cantley was selling small ones until recently, wasn't he (but maybe your
burkei does not come from BE)?

Sockholm,
My burkei is one of the BE Halcon seedlings, as ID'd by Dr Ch'ien Lee I believe.
I find it a veryfast grower........

Hi vraev,
I don't know what species it is, but it's grown from the dried New Zealand Sphagnum sold by 'Just Moss Ltd' of Christchurch, NZ. With clean water and bright light it soon starts to grow again.
Cheers,
T.
