1st is a Ferrocactus.

2nd a Mammillaria.

6th is (I think) a cristate Opuntia of some type.

Without my books to hand, that's as close as I can get! lol.gif

SteveT and Tim are much better at identifying cacti than I am.

Mammillaria may be difficult to identify as to exact species. There are a lot of them and many appear similar.

Hi Joel
I`ll have a guess
1 - Ferocactus Emoryi ssp Emoryi
2 - Mammillaria Elongata -red spined form
3 - Chamaecereus Silvestrii (now under Lobivia) or one of its many hybrids.
4 - Pilocereus ? possibly under the Borzicactus name depending on book
5 - Cereus
6 - cristate Opuntia
7 - Cleistocactus ?
very hard to tell as many cacti change as they mature and fill out and another annoying aspect is for them to have their names changed every once in awhile :x
Give me a bit more time and i may be able to thumb through some more books wink.gif

I spent a good while on some sites but they look so alike Lol.

The only one I got right was the first one :)

Thank you again Steve,
