i purchased it as a 2.5 ft cutting this past August. the cutting came from a very large plant that i was told had been in the guys collection for over 20 years. i would say 20 years would be a conservative estimate going by the size of the plant. there was over 25 feet of vine wrapped around a simmulated tree trunk in his retail greenhouse.
