We had really bad terrential rain yesterday which has caused most of my VFT's to close. I thought dionaea had the ability to ignore rain but obviously not the case when it's that bad.

On the plus side, I got a tonne more rain water :)

Yes I was trapped in the pollytunnel for ages and jumped a mile when lightning struck above us, I think it hit one of the pitch lights.

    Getting a better Sarracenia collection.
I got soaked yesterday, from just 20 seconds outside.

Last summer a whole bus of people, including me, were scared to death when lightning struck a tree around 25 to 30 meters away from us!
It was like an explosion, on the plus side it looked pretty cool.

I like a bit of thunder when I'm in my house but that rain left me completely shocked. At least the weather is set to improve towards the end of this week
