Hi, my question is: how does white leaf pigmentation work (i.e. on Sarracenia leucophylla or Nepenthes alba)?
I mean: is there any white pigment? or the white colour is given by the lack of pigments?
I think that a lack of pigment leads to translucency, like that on Darlingtonia californica fenestrations, for example, but i'm not sure...
I'm sorry if this question has already been asked, but i couldn't find any reference.
