Damaged leaves

Please advise on damaged leaves....

If the leaf becomes damaged / "crisp" at the top ...

-do you leave it
-do you trim the damage back to undamaged area
-do you cut it tight back to the plant base and discard

Please help

If it looks ugly and you find it disturbing, cut it off. If it's still green photosynthesis is still possible, so I would leave it.

just trim it back to living tissue
