.....some plants or seeds!! I'm finding it hard to get what I want. I'd quite like to grow some plants from seeds, but it's not that important. I want three species: drosera anglica, sarracenia leucophylla, and s. purpurea. Seeds or plants I'm not fussy. However all I seem to come up with is variants of the leucophylla. This would be nice in the long term but I want just a bog standard normal one, same for purpurea. I just can't find any drosera anglica anywhere. Just rediculously priced plants on eBay. I thought this would be a cheap and common plant being native to the uk.
Any ideas? Thanks.

It is a bit early in the season for fresh seeds of any type. You may find last years seed which should still be good if stored correctly.
My d.anglica is still flowering happily.

Drosera anglica is not as common as you might expect, but easily grown from seed.
are you a member of the CPS? If so, all these species are available from the seed bank

Thanks for your reply Stephen, I think I'm going to have to bite the bullet and join lots of societies this year. So far on the list are the International Herpetological Society, my local bonsai club, and also the CPS. However for the moment, do you have any seeds? Is it worth asking one of the online shops to see if they can source some for me even if they don't have any advertised on the website?

At least judging from my plants it is about 1 month to go until I can harvest fresh seeds and I guess it may not be much different for other growers.

Thanks Dieter, if I bought some seeds from a shop, would they be fresh seeds? Or stored seeds?
