In honor of the 4th, here's a photo of the Fourth of July Rose, the 1st climbing rose to be awarded the All America Rose Society (AARS) award in 23 years. That was in 1999. It's a repeat bloomer and it has a lovely old-fashioned rose fragrance. Perfect for the 4th of July. It's not easy to find, but it's still out there.
