Here's an old hybrid-I think I remember hearing somewhere that Adrian Slack(the man) mentioned he didn't think this hybrid was worth a cultivar status-probably because of the weird shape.  Bear in mind, when you breed and collect plants for as long as he did, you become more "selective" than the average CP enthusiast.

In any case, I still think this hybrid is spectacular!  Here's a S. x umlauftiana grown by California Carnivores:

Actually, S. umlauftiana is one of my "wish plants".  Now I have a grossly similar plant I got form Mike King, Sarracenia x Eva. It has a similar shape an habit than umlauftiana, and the top is whitish too. ............But still looking for umlauftiana!

Here in the US, it's definitely hard to come by.  I think it was mass tissue cultured in Australia, so perhaps the clone is more common in other countries.
