There were a couple of photos of stunning orange roses submitted to this month's photo challenge, which got us talking about how some people don't allow orange flowers in their gardens. People can be even more particular about the colors of plants than of the clothes they wear. I know a woman who finds white to jarring with other colors, so it is banned from her beds. Then there's the ago old conundrum of orange-reds versus blue-reds. Is there a color that isn't welcome in your gardens? Check all you want, we won't judge.
