hi guys fantastic looking forum with loads of info, i have grown cp a long time ago so cant remember which ones i had , i remember i had some of the common drosera types and a few saracenia and a nice big nepenthes( sorry for the spelling errors) , lately i have been really tempted to start my collection again so i have taken the plunge and ordered some seeds of drosera stolonifera , drosera brevifolia and drosera sessilifolia. im a bit aprehensive about the stolonifera as i have never grown a tuberous drosera before and have read that they can be quite difficult but hey life would be very boring without a challenge. i hope to have pictures of my babies in the coming months to show you all
thanks for reading
regards
dave

Welcome. I'm still scared about trying tuberous drosera. I will though, next year. I keep saying that.

I must admit that when I do venture into the tuberous zone it will be with mature tubers. I'd definitely get them from someone on here though as you need to be careful that they've already been acclimatised to our hemisphere. I wouldn't have the first idea how to do that myself and I saw some for sale somewhere recently that stated 'needing acclimatisation'.

the seeds i bought came from poland so im guessing that they will be used to a cooler climate, hopefully i will have a few germinate and i can share them amongst others who are interested

Ah I didn't mean temperature acclimatisation, I meant hemisphere. Seasons being out of whack.
