Where could I buy plants like some of those;

helonias bullata, narthecium ossifragum, polygala lutea, eriocaulon aquaticum, bog orchids (spiranthes, pogonia, calopogon, platanthera...), xyris...

I cant understand the fact that those are lovely plants, that people would be willing to buy, but there are no any of them commercially in sale... :S And not to mention that here, in Croatia, I have no access to most of already wide distributed and commercial/well known carnivorous plants like drosera binata, pinguicula grandiflora, even weed like utricularia subulata... :S does anyone know of some online shop where I could find something listed above?

Hi bogman,

perhaps I can help you. Erich Maier near Münster in Germany sells bog plants. Here are some orchid species for sale you mentioned: http://www.erichmaie...d=moororchideen Unfortunately there isn´t an English version of this site. :( I have no clue if he sells abroad at all. But as he has no sales terms for international customers I´m not so optimistic. But you can ask him about shipping abroad. Contact form is included on his website as is the email address.

Good luck!

Andreas

I have plenty of narthecium ossifragum in my bog. If you have anything to trade with I can send you some.

I have a good amount of spare cotton grass (Eriophorum), it always looks nice this time of year with its cottony seed heads.

im interested in both eriophorum and narthecium... I have just some eriophorum angustifolium, and some sedges... nothing really worth of swapping... The plants I have look great, but are pretty easy to get in almost any garden centre...

cranberry, typha minima, carex buchanani, juncus, mimulus luteus, bog primrose...
