As soon as the weather warms up, my garden becomes dotted with small. colorful cross-shaped flowers. Many of these are cruciferous vegetables, or cole crops - radishes and the mustards and kales in mesclun mixes. Some like spinach and lettuce, just don't like the heat. And others, like the beautiful salsify flowers below, are biennials that over-wintered in the garden and are doing their swan song....Read Full Post
