A good time was had yesterday at the AGM! A lot of the usual suspects turned out.

After the official stuff was out of the way we watched a film about discovering Nepenthes in the Philippines with Stewart McPherson, and an interesting talk from Tim Bailey about British carnivores (in particular Utricularia), with the promise of a new book in the making...

I bought far too many plants (and picked up a few freebies from Alastair) - more that I have room for at least!

Yes a good day indeed and an awful lot of plants to choose from brought by the members.
I tried to persuade Alistair to let me have a small division of that lovely dark burgandy S. purpurea but to no avail, I was a tad sulky after that lol.

That purp was rather stunning wasn't it. I understand he's going to split it next year so perhaps there's hope yet!
