I was a bit surprised to see this flower pop up nowhere near the mother plant!

Hi Alexis

I've had a similar occurance with one in an outside bog, but true to form the plant has no label (it did have when it went in) so I cant tell you what it is, but obviously sub terranian rhizomes aren't put off by the lack of light, but it would be interesting to see at what depth it is.

I had a little look and there's a shoot just underneath the surface, so I didn't want to accidentally snap it off.

I'll give it a couple of months to have a nosey.
