Is anyone else having slow postal problems?
I've had two 1st class signed parcels take four full working days to reach me.Five days if you include the day they were posted on.

I've sent some to europe, heaven know's how long they'll take at this rate!

conversely a large parcel I sent parcel post took 2 days, very good.

for large packages try a courier, this is a good site:

I recently sent a 7kg package for less than £7, got there the next day! Royal Mail equivalent would have been £22. They pick up too, you can book online and pay with Paypal.

Collection for free? :) Sounds very good , price like you said for 7kg, very cheap.

Hi Ada,
It depends whether your local Royal Mail is going through its revision to Park & loop. Across the country all offices that have, are suffering huge problems. But they promise that once it beds in it will be fine!! :whistling:

Yes I got a very strange letter from our local sorting office saying they expected some delays whilst they implemented som vague, unspecified 'modernisation' and that they would need time to bed in.
