Genlisea in water

Hi to all!
Can Genlisea grows or, at least, survives just in small level of  water without any soil and devices like here some period of time?

So, I realize, I have to do smth, at least, like a basis using that plastic thing or sphagnum...

that being said. i tried what you suggested with G. margaretae and it pooped on me.
