Hi guys =D not posted for ages but thought i would show you a pic of my hard work =D i planted lots of D.Aliciae seeds on the 21st of September 2011, heres what they look like now 3 months on =D


The photo was taken on the 02/01/12, ive been growing them on my living room windowsill under a cut up plastic bottle =D
I will update this post every month now i think with new pictures showing their progress =D

Haha thank you =D these are the first CPs ive successfully grown from seed and i have loads more to grow too, gunna have fun separating all them when they get bigger =P

If you want them to grow a little bit faster, don't forget to feed them! Sprinkle a little crushed fish food onto them,say once every 2 months..

Good idea =D thanks for that, i bought some fish food flakes to feed to my other sundews, didn't think to give any to these =D

I can confirm that feeding young plants is really effective. I tried with three D. aliciae leaf-cutting (they are not seedling, yes, but they started growing at the same time). One of them was a the diet, one was feeding once two weeks or three, and one once a week. As I imagined, they are now from the smallest to the tallest ^^

Heres an update on my little seedlings, i tried the fish food approach, it caused a little bit of mold which i have now got rid of =D and they're looking as good as ever despite losing a couple, think i will just let them grow for a bit before i feed them, i have moved them into my heated propagator though so hopefully that will bring them on a little faster now =D



This photo was taken at the end of Jan =P still growing pretty slow but hopefully being in my propagator will speed them up =D

Also does anyone have any advice on when i should start splitting these up??
