Hi,
I'm new on this forum. I have got terrarium with carnivorous plants.
I'm looking for photos of heliamphora minor burgundy black and h. minor big orange. If you have this plant or you photos please put it here, or informations about they.
In my terrarium is 23-26°C in day and night 18-19°C now. In summer i think it will be 25-30°C in day and 20-25°C in night. I have got 4x24w T5. Does heliamphora parva can grow in this terrarium?

I think that Wistuba did have a photo of the big orange, but I can't seem to find it now. It might be in there somewhere though...

hi adam, i noticed that you updated your post with adding specs and wondering if H. parva would be suitable for your terrarium.
personally, i would ask you to defer from purchasing H. parva because your present conditions, especially during the summer, would prove detrimental for most Heliamphora species. it gets very cold at night where H. parva lives, temps dropping down to on average of 7 C. for day time temps, it is said that you should try to keep temps no higher than 27C. in cultivation, it is best to respect these temperature perimeters.
that being said, if you really desire to grow heliamphora, you should try some of the hybrids such as H. nutans x heterodoxa, or H. minor x heterodoxa, since those should handle the temps you have proposed much better.

Thanks, for your reply. I think i will buy more heliamphoras than nepenthes.
Now i have h. x midoxa. H. nutants x heterodoxa and similar heliamphoras (minor, hete, nuta) is not satisfactory for me. Of course it's one of this heliamphoras, what can have warmer conditions, but i think, you understand that the common species don't enjoy such as for example h. cilliata.

.....under a 125W 6400°K CFL bulb for 11 hours/day
Humidity from 40 to 80%
Temperature range: 10-24°C now, 6-20°C during wintertime, and something like 22-32°C during summertime, not so good but it survived
