Hi All,

Who can tell me how to disinfect Byblis seeds ?? What is safe for this seeds ???

Can I use bLeach and if so how strong and for how long ??

B. liniflora or other species? If it's B. liniflora, many people use a 10% bleach solution to remove the purple dye / inhibitor, before sowing.

Hi Jim,

No I will disinfect the seeds for Plant Tissue Culturing and the species are : aquatica, guehoi, fillifolia, rorida and lamellata

for Byblis guehoi 10% bleach worked for me. Take note when the outer seed coat turn whitish and it was done, don't overdo it.
