To Search the forum:
Near the top of every page on the forum is a toolbar:

The magnifying (looking) glass is the search tool:

Clicking on the
button will open up the searchbar:
Notice that there is a button to the right of the search box:

Clicking this button will result in a drop-down with otions of which section of the forum you would like to search:

These options are dynamic, in that the options available will be different dependant on which part of the forum you are currently viewing. For example, if you are viewing a topic when you click the
button then there will be a 'This topic' option and it will be automatically selected, meaning that any search will be perfomed in the topic only and no other part of the forum. This means that it is important to select the area where you wish search so, for example, if you want to search for a particular term in every forum then you would select 'Forums'. For just the forum you are in, for example if you are viewing a topic in the 'Cephalotus' forum, if you wish to search for a term in just that forum then you would select 'This forum'.After selecting which section you would like to search then enter your search term:

Then click on the
button. This should result in results page, containing all the hits for your search term:

There is also an advanced search option, this is accessed by clicking on the
button on the search bar:
This will open a window where you can enter a search term and filter by author, date, section, forums, min/max number of posts etc:

After entering the search term in the 'Find words' box and selecting the search options from those available, click on the
button, which will result in a results page as above.
