How can I get back the previous behaviour, or at least search for everything changed in the last 24 hours, for example

Sorry  "View new content" is all you got. And there is no going back!

I actually think the forum is faster but I do use Firefox. I do not like so don't use IE. But I hear IE9 is fast so may try that out
Actually you CAN view contents for last 24 hours.

Scroll down to the bottom of the main 'Forums' page, in the blue line that says' BOARD STATISTICS - On the right hand side you will see 'Today's active content'.
This gives you all posts within the last 24hours.

It's actually at the bottom of all foums (or at least most of them).

I've noticed that some characters are not displaying correctly. I've tried in FF4.0, Chrome 10 and IE9 and all give the same results. I am running Windows 7, with standard fonts. Here's some examples of a few I've spotted just looking at recent posts:

I have fixed a couple of usernames with these broken characters. I will do the others when I know what the actual letters are.

Sorry for bother again. I see my user name and some symbols incorrectly again - such as "×" which is "×" now. Is that problem only on my side?

Thanks,

I do not have sufficient privledges to change usernames, but if you let Andy know how your name is spelt then I think he should be able to correct it.

It is actually a bug in the Gallery software, this bug will be fixed in the new release of Gallery. The IPB people fixed this for me.

No problem we need to fix these things. The IPB people fixed this one and are working on fixing the other messed up characters.

It doesn't look like your complaining at all. We need members to tell us if things are wrong, so that it can get fixed.

The site looks good to me, same as before but in purple. No problems with layout using Firefox on a Linux system.

Mistaken post ... sorry, just ignore. (Just so this isn't a completely waste of time though, when composing posts I can't get a new line by hitting enter (using IE9 in W8 ... I know, bleugh!). Anybody else ever run across this problem? Maybe I'll try downloading another browser and see if it works in that.)

EDIT: And ... ignore again. Works fine in Firefox.
