Well we are back up and running on the new server. Just one little problem with memory limit that needs increasing which should speed things up. Can't see anything else wrong at the moment but I'm sure there will be something, so please post if you spot anything.

It's been a stressful day or two but should be able to relax now :man_in_love:

Thanks Andy

I too would like to be able to stretch it for my 16:9 monitor, otherwise, love it.

I was wondering why the site was down.  It'll take a little bit of getting used to, but it looks clean and sharp so far!

Very nice!

A couple of small observations. The layout of posts seems to be a bit off in IE6, at least on my computer ... avatars in the middle of the screen, with post text shunted to the right. This may be my computer though, and I doubt anyone will have too much sympathy for someone using IE6 anyway. There are probably other issues for IE6 that you won't be able to do anything about since it isn't supported.

Another thing, about the icons to the left of post titles in any particular forum. I think hovering the pointer over these icons is supposed to bring up little balloons with the status (New Replies, No New Replies, Hot Topic, etc). It does in Explorer, but not in Firefox. Maybe this is my settings, and anyway, it's a very small point since it's pretty easy to work out the meaning of the various black, grey, red boxes, etc. Just thought you might like to know.

Thanks Andy. I reckon it looks great. Shame about the cropped avatars but, hey, no big deal.

Hi Andy

Just wondering if I'm doing something wrong with the forum clock - I have to have it set at GMT + 4hours with DST ticked to get it anywhere near the correct time.  Its showing now for me 1.10pm, but the actual time is 1.18pm.  If I just have GMT London, Lisbon etc etc, I go back 4 hours.

Cheers

Suzy

I have to set GMT +5hrs with DST ticked. (This gives me the actual time less 6min.)

Looking good, Andy!! Work dictates that I haven't had much of a chance to really explore, but certainly works ok for me so far!! :thumright:

Server time was a touch slow so have corrected this. Board is set to GMT Casablanca, Dublin, London, Lisbon, Monrovia so if you want to be on UK time set your profile time to GMT and tick the DST Correction.

Your a gluton for punishment making all this work for yourself Andy!
Only thing, i liked the old active topics and on my phone I'm having problems distinguishing your site from another CP forum, apart from the name the layout looks identical.
