Hello CP growers and collectors,
What do you think about a listing of CP providers who live in EEC?
We spend a lot of time to find some, and if we gather our informations, I'm sure we could help eacu others.
Of course, we could present some sellers who have web sites, and other who only work by mailing lists.
In another time, we could make a list of those who accept to send plants in EEC, but everyone knows the fees for importation are expensive and it is not always easy to obtain the correct papers. I did it with malaysiana.com, I was very happy to obtain plants, but it tooks 3 months to have all the authorizations. That's why I propose this listing for the moment... I hope not to hurt anybody (either with my idea, than with my english!!!!)
All the best
Etienne

No more seller or provider in Finland, Greece, Norway, Italy, Spain, Poland, Germany, Holland...???
Do not hesit to add sellers, it can be useful for everybody.
For example, I know there are some industrial providers in Holland who can sell Darlingtonia, Nepenthes... and we have not the addresses. Who can help???

Hi Valzergues,
There are 3 CP-nurseries in Holland as many of the members know on this forum, but they all don't sell plants to us, but only for wholesale and flowerauctions.
One of them is called Carniflora, you can find their plants alle over Europe. I visit them about 5 or 6 times each year to get plants for re-sale, like last August during the ICPS-conference at Leiden, Holland.
Their website; www.carniflora.nl
Carniflora is growing more the basic CP's like VFT, Drosera capensis and a few Sarracenia hybrids, like the S. x 'Juthatip Soper'. But they also grow Cephalotus and Darlingtonia out of Tissue Culture. These plants are not hardened off, so it's difficult to keep them alive for a longer period.
There are 3 others, but not that large or special.
If anyone want to have plants of them you have to contact them personally. Beware off ordering outside Europe there is lots of paperwork to be done.
Take care,
Wouter

Thank you, Wouter!
It is sometimes possible to buy plants to them using some friends in a garden center, but as you said, we can be suprised with the strength of the plant! It arrived to me with Heliamphora heterodoxa x nutans. But H. nutans is without problem... We need luck!
All the best.

From Spain we provide plants within Europe.
Venta de plantas carnívoras
We produce them in our own lab tissue culture, I think later this year we can offer a nice and extensive collection of plants for individuals and resellers
Thanks,

Hi All,
A few weeks ago I replied to this topic about a dutch CP-nursery Carniflora above.
I want to ad some more details about order plants; Normally Carniflora only sell plants for cash and Carry, whole-sale and flower-auction. Or large gardencentres order directly from them.
Many members want to have plants from them, but you can't order from thme directly.
Most of their customers are inside Holland. Occasionally plants go to France or Italy, so they don't sent many plants outside Holland
the last few weeks some members asked me for their e-mail adress, but I don't give details unless they are looking for whole-sale.
If you want their plants I have 2 possibillities;
-I orginise a trip to Carniflora at Saturday 21st of May 2011 from 10:00 till 13:00
Everyone can visit this nursery and buy plants. Gert Hoogenstrijd will be sell his plants too.
If you want to visit Carniflora I can send more details.
-Gert Hoogenstrijd has all the plants from Carniflora on his website http://www.extreme-plants.eu/
Take care,
Wouter
