Hi
Anyone ever tried to grow campbelliana on Epiweb?
I have used epiweb in the past quite alot in all of my Dartfrog terrariums i had, togehter with the ISS Drip system they sell and like it a lot.
Now i thing about to use it also on campbelliana.
For all who dont no what i talk about:

They also have those nice round tubes with ISS system on it. What i can say is that the watering work very well

Hello,
I've heard much negative feedback about Epiweb. It doesn't keep the water in very well, so it dries up fast. But if you have a drip wall system, I think it's ok.
The material is also quite sturdy, so it doesn't give much space for roots to expand. Dunno if U. campbelliana "roots" need much space.
If I were you, I would use Xaxim.
Greetings,
Jarkko

Perkelle,
Yes you are right it dries very fast. Thats why i only use it with drip system.
What you eman there is not much space for the roots?
It is very porous and have very much room for them...

I found this post while googling for Epiweb. I've never used it, but it looks similar to Scotch Brite Pads to me.
