Hi,
Well I know that at the times of Facebook and Twitter, starting a blog might be in some way old-fashioned but I wanted to do this for several years now.
So here it is:
http://carnivorousockhom.blogspot.com/
It is mainly carnivorous plants focused but you will will also find other stuff that you may find interesting.
I intend to give updates on my plants collection, infos on my cultivation techniques, updates on my scientific research, my travels, my CP meetings, books reviews, infos on the latest taxonomic and botanical papers and a lot more...
I wanted to gather things and although I really like all those foras, I felt the need to talk and share about my obsessions and my creations all in the same place.
I just hope you'll be able to pick one or two intersting things!
All the best,
François.

Very nice blog François, with some beautiful photos & drawings.
Is that your N. northiana?
Are the size of the Heliamphora neblinae var. parva representive of the plants sold by Andreas or was it specially larger plants for the ICPS conference? Good to see its a fast grower.
How do you keep your plants warm in the winter in your garage?
I look forward to seeing your blog grow...
cheers
bill

Lovely reading. You're a very good artist, and when you say 'Drawing Nepenthes is quite delighting if, like me, you enjoy curves and details,' I know exactly what you mean. Nepenthes are indeed a pleasure to draw.

Very nice Francois. As someone who has never visited facebook or twitter, it's not old-fashioned at all.
I see you are actively adding to it at the moment - which confused me (not hard), as you added some, moments after I starting to read, so when it refreshed I thought i was on another page
Now book marked, I look forward to it's updates - and yeh, great art work.

Hi,
Thanks for the kind words.
Expect a lot of updates shortly as I have a few days off ;-)
Bill, unfortunately, this is not my northiana. It is a plant I saw when I was in Bau, Borneo last year.
Cheers,
François.

Hi François,
I just wanted to congratulate you on your web site/blog. Great to have your travels, taxonomy etc. assembled conveniently in one place. I will surely visit it regularly for an interesting read, as well as to appreciate the beautiful photos.
Regards,
Christer

I'm not really a blog reader type but this blog is worth of reading! And all of those pictures are just magnificent! Above all of the pictures the best are the ones with Heliamphoras. I'm very amazed how someone can cultivate Helis so well.

Hello,
Please, allow me to advertise my blog that I completely renewed a few days ago:
http://carnivorousockhom.blogspot.fr/
The overall look is more eye friendly and you can even choose between 7 different blog presentations (Blogger's "dynamic views") that you can choose at the top left of the screen.
There is a translator, a search function, archives and few other widgets (right of the screen).
I hope you will like that new "skin".
All the best,
François.
