for the more experienced growers that use daphnia in their aldrovandra tanks/ponds/bassins... i have a question.
how to keep the daphnia alive?!
Ive already thrown in 2 bags full of daphnia now, but they all die after 1 day, and make a mess out of the water that way.

Hello,

I have Aldrovanda in my pool for now 6 years and every years I have a lot off daphnia coming back.
So I think for have daphnia and Aldro you need a stable environment with nutriment for everybody.
I have a waterlily and an other plant but I don't no the name in English and the bottom of the pool is full of lift and moisture and of course some alga.

Some picture:

But you where you have your Aldro?

Bye Nicolas

i keep my aldrovandra in a container, usually used to plant flowers in, and hang it on a balcony. I have a layer of around 4 cm of peat on the bottom, and there is a grass-specie of water plant in it.
