If you use the Private Messaging can you all please keep your inbox tidy.

Please go to your PM and have a look in all these  Inbox    Sentbox    Outbox    Savebox   delete anything you don't need.

If these PM's are let to build up then the forum database gets full. If this happens I will have to limit the use of PM's.

Thanks for your help.

I'm sure that it is all for the best but I have only just about mastered the old format - us oldies find it more difficult to change! I know that this is almost certainly a stupid question but can someone explain the difference between PM's & e mail & when each should be used? Finally can you tell me where I can find info. on Open Days!

PM's are sent between members and are read within the forum (see "New Messages" top right corner) Emails are sent to your computer to your email program. Use any one it doesn't matter.

Open day dates are always found on the CPS website here http://www.thecps.or...ent/view/36/57/

and also here on the forum http://www.cpukforum...php?showforum=6

Andy, is it possible in this PHPBB version to turn off PM's? I hate them anyway, I'd rather receive emails.

Oh! Yuk, what's it done to my avatar...
