I want to try some normal genlisea, (I have some small ones getting overgrown by moss right now, I can't identify them) and I was wondering if anyone knew where to buy them. Thanks!

Yep, He lives about 15 minutes away from me. I think i'll buy some from him next time I see him. And Cobraplant has outrageos prices for some things, otherwise I might get some from there.

Why don't you just repot the ones that are being overgrown and when they flower you can identify them using Bobz's photofinder.

I recently ordered some Genlisea cuttings from Douglas Darnowski. I got in touch with him through Yahoo Groups. There's a Stylidium forum in the groups that he moderates. He's a really good guy and generous with cultivation info. He emailed me a list of plants, cuttings, and seeds that he offers. It's mostly Stylidium, but he also sells Genlisea hispidula leaf cuttings, 5 for $10, mixed forms. He also has a nice selection of Utricularias, he sells Aldrovanda as well (about $10), he has an awesome variety of Stylidium seeds and even some Levenhookia seeds, and you can also buy his book "Triggerplants" directly from him and signed as well. I tried treating the leaves lightly with a little fungicide and planting on wet sphagnum, but the ends started to die off, so I was left with 4 half leaves, so I cut off the dead petioles, treated lightly with fungicide again, and tried water propagation (just floated them in a sealed container in some distilled water). It's been about one month, and the leaves have put forth roughly 12-20 plantlets! In that respect, I suppose the $10 was a bargain. I don't know if this will help you with your Genlisea search, but if you want to try some Stylidium (including the sometimes hard-to-find S. debile), this would be a great source to start with.
