What Camera do you use for taking CP photos?

To use your macro facility well, make sure you have a tripod or stable service in which to put the camera on.

A decent amount of lighting and using the 2second timer to reduce shake would also be recommended :)

Thanks for the advice Joel, it's got an optical image stabiliser, will see if a tripod is still necessary. :)

Sadly that means nothing in the macro world lol, though will improve any 'normal' shots you will be taking.

I use a Canon EOS 20D and EOS 30D and my Nikon Coolpix 3200 (soon maybe also the Canon EOS 40D  :clapping: )

Fred, you're a man after my own heart. I have a fair sized collection of vintage cameras too. I started collecting them about 25 years ago. Unfortunately mine have been stuck in a box in the loft for years because we've got nowhere to display them.

I must get the down and remind myself how much I love them!  :oops:

Thanks to everyone for their advice.I had no idea which camera to buy and after reading this thread ive decided to opt for an 8 mp cannon powershot s515 as a christmas present to myself.So hopefully i will be posting some decent shots after christmas.Once ive worked out how to use it that is!
