Deadly Weapon
Amazing plant! Can this be grown in a room or a warm terrarium?
amphirion
thanks very much for the kind comments! @ Deadly Weapon: you are in luck. this masdevallia is very warm tolerant and can be grown in warm/intermediate conditions without any problems. Guest Andreas Eils
*Röchel* You make me depressive!! ;o) But you know something? My specimen is currently also sending out a few flower stalks. It has a new place in the terrarium now where it obviously feels more comfortable. However it doesn´t look like I will enjoy so many flowers than your plant provides you with. It´s a nice species, isn´t it? Andreas

Daniel O.
Indeed it´s a beauty. Have you mounted it on the peace of bark? If i will have some time these days i will also show pictures of some of my orchids. Best regards, Daniel Edited January 21, 2012 by Daniel O. amphirion
@Daniel: yes, i have my orchid mounted on corkbark. i do this actually with all my orchids and it saves me a lot of pot space, as all of them grow vertically. unfortunately, because of this i cannot grow any paphs since these are 1) usually large in nature and 2) terrestrial. i would love to see pictures of your orchids. looking forward to seeing them!
