David Ahrens
I haven't seen Derek for quite a few years now. He was a very good grower and had a nice collection of Sarracenia and Nepenthes. His wife died rather unexpectedly some while back. Tarn was a lovely lady and the forum and CPS members sent contributions of £500 to Macmillan Nurses. Quite a lot of money for a small, close knit community. Perhaps , if Derek is out there somewhere, he could put a posting on the forum and let us all know how he is getting on.. billynomates666
I believe Aidan at Insektenfang obtained some of his clones some years back, however that business has been sold on I don't know what happened to them. Cheers Steve
dennisB
Insektenfang was bought by James Ellis and is still operating as far as I know. Dennis

osmosis
This was just a part of his collection in 2006. There was another room just for Heliamphora and a huge covered area outside for Sarracenia. He used to do an open day every year, sadly I never got the chance to go.
