mexican pings.in flower

Hi All

is it unusual to have Mexican pings in flower at this time of year  my particular ones are x tina   and x wesser.

My grandiflora as however gone into winter mode

They are all in cold greenhouse

Yes for me too, and P gracilis, rotundiflora & cv crystal buds developing quickly.

Tatter, I keep mine in a greenhouse with minimum temps around 7-8C, is your cold gh frost free?  Just wondered as I've never let my Mexican Pings get below zero.

temp in greenhouse as already been to a low of minus 1(minus 3 outside) but there where double fleeced .Greenhouse  stays frost free, But all plants are fleeced when forecast to be below +5 c

cheers Jim, that sounds good, I could probably do something similar then drop the temp in my small gh by a couple of degrees or so, always looking for ways to save on electricity usage.

Don't blame me if goes wrong though as so many factors are outside control like aspect of greenhouse  and location in country and prevailing winds etc.I can only state what is my experience in my location
