Hey guys,

today a small update of two of my "seed grown" beauties.

Note:
It  may not be the finale characteristics of the plants.
It's just a first impression.

The first plant I want to show is my 003 "seed grown" -Dionaea.
It is similar to Adentata/Adentate in shape and upright grows, but it seems that the plant has smaller traps. In addition, the traps are slightly uneven in color, so that a beautiful "blood spatter"-look is created.

The second plant is the 006, it is a very unique venus flytrap. First it looks similar to 'Werewolf' but with ages it changed in a completely different way. The traps are round and bent backwards, it has short 'Werewolf'-teeth and gets a light red coloration in the traps. The special feature is that the traps have a big edge forming small hills between the teeth and the trap.

Cool!!! :D

Did you just sow normal dionaea seeds?

@SamuelRodryg

If you mean "typical"-seeds, no I didn't.

The seeds came from crossings of many of my cultivars.

Quite a number of spazzy flytraps. All quite fascinating. Not sure if they would compete with others in the wild though.

Hey guys,

here is a little update of my Seed Grown Dionaea 006.
I took the pictures with my phone, so the quality is not very good, but I want to show you the new traps nevertheless, because I really like them.

Very nice - quite distinctive traps there!

What was the parentage of those seedlings?

Hey Stu,

Thanks!

Sorry, I don't know that, because it was a crossing of many cultivars.
So it's impossible to say which the parents are.

Tobias

More great pics Tobias - really liking this one.

The petioles look quite distinctive as well - very slender and curved in by the look of it.
